Agreed.. there's more to the story.
I don't see how paying McMahon could lead to a technical default.... unless it left CAI with too little in the bank.
Perhaps it can be resolved by another CR. Perhaps the production numbers are still low?
Thing is it's a bolt from the blue... I doubt DR would have done that Crux interview if he knew things were dire. Which is why I am suspicious of Macquarie. If they have someone who is interested to buy they can clear the debt and hedge and get it off their hands. McMahon would be an excuse for them.
Anyway... what ever is the story we'll find out eventually.
