Hi robbo24
The sulphide ore has been discussed at length some time ago on this forum.
To recap..
For CAI Nullagine doesn't have to run 24/7 52 weeks a year. A campaign milling operation provides extra ounces on top of Warrawoona production. There are sufficient oxide ounces to make it worthwhile.
MOY (and NVO) didn't have that as an option and were depleting the oxide at an unsustainable rate keeping the mill fed. MOY made some attempt to refit the mill for refractory ore but didn't do nearly enough. NVO abandoned the project on the basis they returned to primarily being explorers (they considered upgrading the mill but there are associated delays with permitting of about 2 years... so they opted out)
CAI always needed to include a circuit to process refractory ore and Nullagine will eventually be upgraded. The regulatory delays are not a problem for CAI given the mine can act as a supplemental supply of ounces in the meantime.
