The market is a forward looking entity and often rates a stock on what it may produce in the future even
if at present it produces nothing.
EG ..when Tesla announced it had an offtake agreement with KDR, but of course this agreement would not become effective ( production wise ) for some time to come, yet they had an instant re-rate on the day of the announcement as the market was factoring in what they might do as opposed to what they are doing. Just something to think about.
