Potentially it could be read that way, but validation is very important with historical data. i used to own another stock, that bought a new tenement with historical data including some areas with high gold grades, all drilled to a shallow 50m deep. The company's new drilling campaign target the shallow and deeper targets but unfortunately it was really bad with both deeper and shallow results. The shareholder and management lost faith in the ground and the SP was hit hard.

With this announcement, it is good to know that the historical drill results can be trusted. On the other point, management placed some drill holes strategically where it resulted in significant intercepts indicate potential for extensive gold mineralisation at depth and along strike.
