Iinitial MainRoads project claim included two separate elements;

1. Insurance claim relating to a number of damaging storm events during the project - now settled for 2.5 million.

2. A contractual claim relating to a variance between the amount of rock encountered in actual cuttings vs the expected amount - this is the ongoing matter as mentioned in the most recent update, with mediation set for some time in February.

The total combined amount of the two elements was forecast by BYL at roughly 9 million pre-tax. I don't ever recall BYL providing a breakdown of how each individual element contributed to this total so am unable to determine how that received 2.5 million for insurance contributes in actuality vs their initial estimates.
