Sure Helios anything is possible until it’s proved not to be. Most geological deposits need huge amounts of drilling and tests to confirm theories.IOCG deposits are STILL a mystery after a decade of discovery. Pegmatites also very cryptic and really little work done has been done on them as well. So SOURCE- PATHWAY-TRAP is a common description. Here parental late stage S type granites ( which also have parental origins) are source, but mostly at depth or intrusive - not really known. Pathways most likely fault, foliation lineaments or combination of all. Trap is where the fluid flow has cooled ,slowed ,started crystallising fracturing local rock allowing more fluid space etc . With exploration searches for LCT pegs you either stumble across them then work backwards to find out why, or work with area with S types and work ‘forwards’ trying to find LCT pegs. Of course after that there’s the mineralogy and fertility. So basically here at Adina it’s all still broadly theoretical but they have mentioned dilation zones where the peg has thickness- and their orientation is most likely north( really northwest).
