Hi blooreeler,
Unfortunately this technology is not as proprietary as the company makes it sound. The technology has been there for many decades and is especially prevalent in Europe, China and India. Very low uptake of this tech in Australia, some farms/dairies/pigeries do use the tech to convert animal poo to gas. There is one company in Sydney (Earth-power) that uses waste from the Sydney Markets, woolies and coles to generate gas.
The real problem is how to sort the non degradable stuff out and I think this will become a bit of an issue for ANQ. (Although their technology is supposed to deal with the "Junk"). Earthpower for example used to accept municipal solid waste (MSW) but now accepts organic wastes only, due to finding that the non degradable stuff (glass, metals etc) causes ALOT of wear and tear hence blowing their operating costs up.
Anyhow, Goodluck either way!
