It's sedimentary copper guys, by definition the grade is not going to be high.
This logging is likely indicative of grades between 0.3 - 1.0% Cu IMO. But sedimentary copper is not about grade. It's about tonnes. And they already have high grade massive sulphide close to surface. So does this become a two stage mining scenario in future?
Early days but today's announcement will be seen as a game changer for AW1 in the months to come IMO. They've found copper in sediment at depth with 6 EM plates yet to be drilled...there's no reason massive sulphides can't come into the mix as they explore this opportunity...
