    It's almost predictable that you're going to get a few wannabe geos and naysayers have a rant and try to talk something down when the rest of the community is upbeat and excited and why wouldn't we be!

    I'm seeing a lot of chatter about XRF both on here and on the "bird" questioning why there were no XRF readings presented in the CR. I'm no geo but I know enough to be able to state authoritatively that XRF is primarily for qualitative (identity) work, not quantitative (how much). Most companies use XRF to confirm the TYPE of sulphide and not to estimate grades over intervals.

    It's often said that it can be dangerous/misleading to report values due to potential biases. Knowing it's Chalcocite, as others have already suggested, is all the info we need - it obviates the need for any XRF datawink.png
