Just to throw another idea in the mix, I wonder whether JOGMEC might be knocking on CNB's door by now?
For those who don't know, JOGMEC is the Japanese government agency thay seeks to secure long term supplies of oil, gas, metals and coal to meet predicted future demandfrom Japenese Industry. The CNB Qld tenements would be attractive because:
1. JOGMEC signed a strategic partnering agreement with the Qld Government back in 2013 ish. JOGMEC have an office in Brisbane.
2. They know the ground, having previously partnered with Hammer Metals. Following a tender process, that relationship is now handed over to Sumitomo.
3. Established infrastructure (road/rail/sea port).
Pure speculation on my part.
