Yes it is a true art. I have held DEG,SIR,CHN and finally CNB.

My strategy was buying up about 100 K shares at a low price then selling out at highs. I also had rules on purchasing and dumping stocks based on propsectivity, board behaviour capital raises due etc.

Big misses were:

SIR - bid in at 0.05 but missed on days low of about 0.051. Ran to .75 bought some then sold at about 3.5.
CHN- bid in at .22 but missed days low . Ran to 1.24 bought in and still holding.
DEG bought 100 k at 0.10 sold at 0.06 after big CR for purchase of Mallina Project. Missed out on share raise.
SVY bought in at 0.3 but after years of near misses chasing the elusive porphyry I finally folded for 0.18 after a big 1.5 km long duster. 2 weeks later hit the big one.

Any 2 of the above would have got me to where I want to be had I persisted.

CNB in at .12 and sticking like shxx to a blanket and hoping for the best.
