It is hard mate - I’m guilty of it on many many occasions in 2017. When you look make and think of the $ you could have made if you just held, but they don’t all run or succeed so how do you know right? Makes it that much more difficult when you’re sitting on high profits that make the stock disproportionatly backed compard to other opportunities - If you can nail how to get that right it’s the secret to good money.
@Lefevre said once in a stock I was holding at the time that some people are too scared to make real money (or something to this effect) Sounded stupid to me at the time but in retrospect it stands true and you see it often. I guess it comes down to your time spent in the market and how
large positions younare accustomed to or have the stomach for.
If you were sitting on $1m cash invested in VEC right now I bet you would have a different view about offloading some at these prices! One of aspects of trading psychology I am trying to grasp atm.
Anyway this post wasn’t about you specifically, you just struck a cord and I’m rambling, good luck with your investment
