There is actually an interesting side note here.

The licence for "Cummins Range Road" - https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/new-cummins-range-miscellaneous-licence-application-l-80-106.6598739/ was withdrawn about 2.5 weeks ago. Perhaps the confirmed road money negates the need for this additional road with an "almost end to end all weather sealed road" felt to be sufficient for the project.

Speaking of 2.5 weeks, there is approximately 2.5 weeks remaining of the 4 month Native Title notification period for the Cummins Range Mining Licence Application - https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/cummins-range-mining-licence-application-is-go.6454391/ . If that gets approved in a usual sort of timeframe following, we could be looking towards a June / maybe July announcement regarding mining. Of course delays and objections can happen, so we just wait for actual confirmation.
