The country (Cambodia), a staunch ally of Beijing, received billions of dollars in soft loans and investment from China, and Hun Sen travelled there earlier this month in a show of solidarity.

I expect that EMR management will probably make a statement at some stage, possibly this week, on how the heavy travel restrictions between Cambodian provinces, due to COVID-19 and the state of emergency, might affect the timelines for the building of the gold mine and the estimate date for first production.

It would seem to be a reasonable and responsible thing for EMR to do, to keep shareholders informed.
