Many people hark back to the GFC, and note that gold fell initially, before it rose in response to easing. Yes, we've had falls yesterday and today, as well, but I wouldn't rule out quick, and quite violent moves north in the gold price. We know what the Fed playbook is now. The global economy is even more fragile.
History doesn't repeat, but it rhymes.
