If you believe in the stock then it makes sense to get your foot in the door and accumulate as you go.
The alternative is do nothing and miss out.
While buying small parcels isn't the most savvy thing you can do, it still makes sense if you think the stock will earn you more than 10%.
For years when I was on a lower income I bought and sold dozens of stocks and never bought more than $500-$700 at a time!
