If REE prices were soaring we would be at a higher SP right now. Although foreign investment in to Tanzania has increased rapidly over the last few years there is still the stigma of “Africa risk”. Directors going in 150k each on last raise so they are down over half. Chambers buying a lot more in the 0.4 range.
I believe shenghe will take this over. Let’s hope that if they do the REE price is sitting a lot higher than now. Albeit FID is not long away and can’t see it increasing much or if any before then. I wonder how much the other commodities will be valued at (niobium,fluorspar).
If this project was sitting in western oz it would be currently valued higher but that’s the risk we take when investing in specs in foreign countries with bad reputations.
Hopefully that can change one day.
