There is no trendline constructed at the lower high yet (if we go back in time), so the false MACD signal isn't really a false signal, just noise, momentum rolled over at what would later become a valid trend line.
Not a big issue now as the trendline is valid now. That's just a pet peeve of mine, hindsight and look ahead bias.
