    Not remotely familiar with local geology but Titanite (CaTiSiO5) or weathered/leached equivelant would make a lot of sense. Titanite fractionation in alkaline rocks is well documented and it likely to have higher abundance than perovskite. Titanium rich garnet (andradite) also possible and well known to contain REE as is titanite.

    Let's see how far the intellectual dishonesty runs on this before they do the mineralogy before committing serious SH fund$ to drilling out a deposit (note I don't use the term Resource) that has difficult metallurgy.

    At this stage it doesn't look like it's a threat to SVM who have the real McCoy TiO2 100% being rutile.
