Pointing out that ACG has been in this space for 20 years with their scientists developing serious IP this space: creating the gold standard in blood pressure measurement referenced in well over a thousand journal articles, and accepted by the FDA as the gold standard.

Google, Apple, etc are IT/device companies... not science driven health companies performing fundamental research in specific domains like blood pressure. Even if they wanted to create what CDX have, it would not happen at a 'hackathon' or over night. The nature of science research is years long: research and study, experimentation, testing, failure, improvement etc. It's very different to smacking together lines of code from pre-existing libraries (Java/C/etc). Software companies use building blocks to make stuff... CDX has built it's own blocks for other to use - and they are patented.

For the patient - this was an expected outcome from CDX.
