Establishing an export oil route through POG is huge for TEG, not only for CH production but also for their gas & oil exploration revisit at L7 and also brings CH MK2 back into calculations.
Not to mention that now POG is onside with oil exports TEG's Arrowsmith facility comes right into play.
Management have a bit each way with the understanding they have with Pilot on the CCS proposal. No commitment is required until Government approval is received.
I think the project has merit and in time the will gain approval and that could be a big winner for the proposed JV.
But also now there is an oil export route through POG, TEG have a few more options up their sleeve. The JV proposal may well be the future for the platform, but I'm thinking oil is still on the menu.
This game has just raken a new turn.
