On May 17th AFR's street talk published an article claiming that Robert Friedland was a big buyer in Chalice's capital raise. Later that day, Ivanhoe Capital Corporation released a statement that "The story cited incorrect, anonymous information regarding Mr. Friedland."
The subsequent top 20 on May 22nd (After the CR) did not list Robert Friedland as a holder. His Appearance has only been in yesterdays updated T20, which was updated on August 10th previously.
So I'm assuming that he had an interest in the company when the CR was conducted, resulting in AFR's article, and between August 10th and September 23rd, something has given him more confidence to start investing, possibly the metallurgical results, EM anomaly, or a combination of factors.
All IMO of course.
