The term T+2 refers to someone who buys a stock when it's "pumping" in the hopes that the price will continue to rise and can sell out for a profit. I'm not sure who you trade through, but at least with CommSec, you don't have to have the funds in your trading account for the first two days after you buy the shares. So when people use T+2, they’re essentially gambling on the idea that they can trade a stock without having the funds, hoping they can close the trade (sell) before the funds are due, covering their initial buy parcel (cost) and be left over with basically free money, if their T+2 is successful. When you say it's 2025 and not 1990, that’s pretty much the opposite haha. In my opinion, T+2 has become more of a trend now compared to 1990, as I'm not even sure it was a thing back then. I myself have successfully executed a few T+2 trades in my time. smile.png
