Revolver Resources (ASX: RRR) has identified multiple priority alteration and iron oxide targets following the processing of WorldView-3 (WV3) satellite data acquired for the Dianne copper project in Far North Queensland’s Hodgkinson Province.WV3 is a leading-edge technology which collects high-resolution spectral data that can be processed to map the distribution of minerals and iron oxides when identifying outcropping alteration patterns and gossanous zones in hydrothermal systems.The data was processed to produce a high-resolution, tenement-wide image suite for use as a geological mapping base to better define folded stratigraphy and fault patterns that control the Dianne mineralisation.Alteration processing of Revolver’s data by consultant Global Ore Discovery highlighted multiple anomalies which have become a priority for immediate follow-up through mapping, rock chip and soil sampling.Revolver has now initiated a helicopter-borne electromagnetic (Heli-EM) survey by New Resolution Geophysics covering 95 square kilometres – or more than 80% — of the Dianne tenement.Additional anomalies identified from the survey will also be followed-up as priority targets.
