CNB are obviously onto something major at Greater Duchess, and we're currently just scratching the surface.

glimpses of a possible copperberg, an elephant, come from the company's exploration and from @GeoFiji 's ongoing fascination with the area seen in the latest of a number of posts based on historical reports.

here's a reminder of a particularly juicy bit GeoFiji's post relating to the Lady Fanny prospect, which we're currently exploring: "The shaft was sunk to 103ft and hit sulphides at 65ft. At the bottom of the shaft the lode was 12ft wide assaying 25% copper."

i'm no geologist so i wonder if these sort of lodes are one-offs in isolation, or occur in discrete clusters and more are waiting to be discovered.

if these sorts of lodes are more than one-offs perhaps the criticised comparisons with Sandfire Resources, which started their operations with direct shipping ore, are more than justified.

long termers will reap the full benefits of any future such discoveries, while traders will have plenty of opportunities to get the excitement they crave.

i'm holding long term.

LFRC077 with [email protected]% is certainly pushing up there.

If what is hiding under the surface around Greater Duchess bears any resemblance to the past I would image there will be many further hits with the occasional outstanding interval. It seems mostly what we are missing so far is any clear idea about tonnages, grades clearly no problem, volumes uncertain.

The rest of 2022 looks very engaging here with CNB.
