Fair comment. The data is from FerroAlloyNet and Customs. The Glencore comment was initially reported by Asianmetal and corroborated by a conversation that I had with Largo. The opinion is my own and I spend a relatively solid amount of time studying the market. I’m happy to assist anyone if they require clarity or further information on any of the points that I made.
I don’t like to waste a post though, so I’ll offer another data point. According to the China Iron & Steel Research Institute, vanadium production from stone coal was down 1.2% y/y in 2Q19 at 2,668mt V2O5.
