if the goal is to get the options exercised and the money in the bank then you want the share price as high as possible to encourage them to be exercised so your suggestion that they would hold the price is counter intuitive
perhaps short term a cap raise is weighing on the stock but last time the stock doubled following its raise so as Feindish has said as long as the stock is placed well to strong hands then it should go very well
