I’m taking from this two sentences
“With no further inter-government department queries anticipated, it is expected that the new regulations will be gazetted within the next fortnight.”

“Following that, a finalisation of the Mining Licence Application (MLA) fee payment can be lodged and the review and award of the MLA on RL 1693 (TN03834) shortly thereafter.”

On the less positive, it reads that DGSM haven’t reviewed the Stage 1 DFS. That will begin after the fee is lodged.

"Department of Geology, Survey and Mines (DGSM) has committed to reviewing the Stage 1 DFS to ensure any areas of clarification can be identified and actioned immediately to support the swift evaluation of the MLA"

It isn’t mentioned here but I’m also expecting that the gov will take 15% equity stake during this MLA grant process as per new mining regs.
