Whilst I am a hopeful shareholder, my very real concern has been the Political Risk re Uganda.
I have watched other mining coys in Africa get screwed-over by various Govts, and that makes me nervous.

BUT - I sit here and contemplate the ramifications of "Political Risk", and think "if we think about Political Risk, what about Australia's Political Risk" ?????

Witness Gas exploration and production, price caps, export controls.
Witness Coal mining, production, exports etc.

What about the Andrews nutters in Victoria today announcing the banning of any new gas connection to new housing developments?

At least IXR has a genuine plan, has a production process under development, has a product which will be in high worldwide demand, and (I think) will almost certainly be able to source development finance (with some Cap Raise Equity from IXR shareholders).

So still positive for ML, but concerned about Chinese influence and spoilers on these African Govts - but wait and see I guess.
