When PDN announced temporary diesel shortage on 17th Nov, no mention was made of it being diesel to generate power for the plant or that Malawi's Electricity Supply Corporation not supplying power at the moment. We must remember diesel has other uses in a mine including transport
I think the gist of the Paladin announcement was that they did not want to be caught short and therefor
"BROUGHT FORWARD THE MARCH SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE TO REDUCE NEAR TERM FUEL CONSUMPTION"
Technically the temporary shut down should not effect March Quarter production.
