The dose limit for a mine worker working in the pit continuously for 12 hours a day over a 30 day period was calculated to be 1mSv/a. Allowable exposure limits at the time was 50mSv/a which was going to reduce to 20mSv/a.
The 30 day roster had nothing to do with allowable exposure limits, but availability of workers.
