I keep monitoring short sales interests and see that about 1/7 of the shares sold short in the last few days are short selling. That is according to the volume information I see on Yahoo. But from my broker, I see that the volume is only about 3-4 million per day. That would mean 1/4 of the shares are sold short daily. I don't know the accurate figure but this looks like a tug-of-war. I keep adding a little on a down day. I think the shorts will be burned badly 6 months from now.
