So the dust has quickly settled on the Update. $1.08 to 83c, yuk, let's not go there.

I note HC speculation as to the number of ounces was way over - eg 450kozs per month for 12 months, or divide the exploration costs per qtr by $8/oz etc. We should have known. Hemi is unique? and the birds and ounces came at such a rate, in hindsight it was unrealistic to think that it would continue at that rate, we could only hope.

My prediction that Duicon and Eagle alone will get to 6mozs, the original MRE for the whole of Hemi, is looking a bit silly. But as Andy said the other day "Brolga, Duicon and Eagle are open down plunge, the others are open down dip".

The Brolga discovery holes were aircores to a depth of 58m and 80m only. And they just hit that summit of the intrusion. All the others missed, they were too shallow. The rest is history.

The strategy is clear, and I applaud it. Will we hit a new bird or birds? We should know soon. Fingers crossed.

For sure, we won't die wondering.
