I don't think the salaries are exceptionally high... 2 of the board members are part of the exec team getting about 500k each. and the other's get about 100k each which is not abnormal.
I can't really criticise this board's decisions too greatly... there have been some stunningly stupid and greedy executives in the telco space over the last few years. My only criticism is that they seem a little too conservative, but I guess when the two largest shareholders / two most senior executives have the majority of their wealth in this asset its bound to be run slightly differently.
