This is a surprise to me and I can only think that Brett must have something better for himself lined up elsewhere.
As for the golden parachute talk I doubt whether that will apply.
The issue of 6,000,000 options were subject to shareholder approval and that hasn't occurred and a 'change of control' was needed for the termination payment equal to one years salary to be activated and that also hasn't happened.

Personally I am sorry to see him go.
