What my perspective is the difference between Clay and Benjamin
Here's Clay's Mr. Clay Epstein served as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Zyber Holdings Limited until June 1, 2016. Prior to Zyber, Mr. Epstein served as the Vice President and Technical Manager at Bank of America, responsible for its global Public Key Infrastructure and Cryptography Engineering Group. Previous to Bank of America, Mr. Epstein served as Chief Information Officer and Head of Operations for Venafi, Inc. Mr. Epstein served as Chief Technology Officer of Venafi, Inc. Mr. Epstein oversaw the formulation and implementation of a strategic vision to advance Venafi technology in conjunction with corporate business objectives. Prior to joining Venafi, Mr. Epstein served as Vice President of Product and Technology at Identrus, where he was responsible for the overall strategic product direction, technology and management of the operating rule set for Identrus, a global identity management network of financial institutions. Previously, he served as Head of eCommerce Technologies for Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) in Melbourne, Australia, building its secure Web infrastructure, Internet banking, and Internet-based payments processing systems. Previously, he served as Chief Technology Officer for Digital Signature Trust Co., where he directed the technology development and implementation of one of the first licensed Certificate Authorities (CAs) in the United States. He served as a Director at Zyber Holdings Limited until June 1, 2016. Mr. Epstein holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Utah and an MBA in Management Information Systems from Westminster.
What I am gathering is that Clay was essential to the overseeing and development of the product and a job well done.
With Clay's exit they did not replace him with a CEO with a similar skill set, rather they chose a more sales driven CEO with a focus on customer relations - this is where Clay may have been lacking in experience ? I think we now have the product and new management required to take this to the next level. I'm not going anywhere at the moment ...
