    Should just add to this - "..the license also allows WDS to share the data with other third parties (should they wish)" - (direct from email correspondance with pcl). Using a bit of lateral thinking, what we are seeing currently with Galp bidding, and Petrobras coming in hot with a bid (likely with Partners - refer to news article) - it is my suspicion/speculation ONLY that wds will want to bring a partner into the fold, spread the risk a little, and go for the drill. This wait for the seismic license does NOT prevent wds from interpreting the data in the meantime (which they are doing). It does however prevent them from having any type seismic data sharing discussion with third parties (outside of the current JV) - until it is granted. I suspect it is simply just a case of 'hurry up and wait' (as frustrating as it is).
