i think it could be handy to allay many little fears which can become mtns in peoples minds - and i think the overall process of Q/A will be that the project is pretty well moving as expected, this was a huge 3D survey - much data, Both Cos assessing Data, licence signature an adminstrative issue NOT slowing progress, and i think as mentioned the need to get the analysis right since the $$ to be spent on drilling the first well is a significant cost!!!
As i keep on saying the O&G industry is a very slow moving industry compared to racing out to drill a few exploration holes in dusty WA. It is hugely frustrating, but i cannot think of one O&G Co in the last 20 yrs that has moved "quickly"
look at WDS first oil finally in Sangomar - that was a long saga too. discovered in 2014!!!! and that was the first well, with approx 3-5 or more years before that getting to the discovery well.
