There was a big pot of gold for management if they performed. So the goal posts shifted, that is all.
I hope it is more a deck cleaning exercise for a fresh start so to speak. Some one needs to step up, grab it and shake it up a bit.
Just changing a reward scheme is not strategic management. It is having a plan , announcing that plan, set milestones and evaluate performance against milestones. That way shareholders/market have a measure to judge by and where they rate you on the BS meter.
Bit like TNT.
They set an objective and let the world know, time frame and delivered on it. Regardless what anyone thinks of the model, its underlying g earnings etc, they delivered.
The fear of failure, the secrecy, the lack of a frank and honest discussion with the owners of the company is the biggest drag on this Company. They destroy what should be a wonderful opportunity by their disregard for the broad base of holders, which in turn makes them unattractive to new investors. It's just the vibe they have themselves created through the culture they adopted. They run just like another penny West Perth mining company, when it should be seen as and can be so much more.
cheers
