Good news is that MH is apparently holding onto his shares- mentioned twice in the release.
However the timing couldn’t be worse. We’re at a critical stage, this can only mean there’s been a serious difference of opinion on what comes next. My money is on a Codelco tie up or something along the lines of MSB no longer being fully independent. MH has been a firm believer in going it alone as he’s always suggested there are lots of parties interested in funding the project. I would expect news flow imminently.
Perhaps he will look to unbundle or JV the company re our WA assets? There’s plenty potential there and no chance of political interference.
Not happy about the share price drop to 28c. With that said a clear path forward and a guaranteed cheque from Codelco to build would be bullish from these levels.
LPI has been trading at a premium to BRZ, first time ever. At least we’ll have answers very soon
