I can honestly say that that same thoughts has passed my mind quite a few times. And I haven't totally discarded it either.
The point is though, that if I do, I would have to sell in dribs and drabs for months and months on end and the brokering fees would get more than I would end up making in selling out. As I can't make use of a bot to allow me to trade a few shares at the time, (1 and 2 shares), the costs would become prohibitive.
