Not sure it's misleading, LCE is lithium carbonate equivalent and what the market understands. If they put LiCl numbers, they'd then get people saying well what does that mean in terms of LCE. Can't please everyone.
That being said, after listening today it's clear they're going harder down the LiCl path and trying to get the market to understand they're more like a brine version of PLS (which he referenced) delivering concentrate.
E.g Brine concentrate = LiCl, Hard rock concentrate = Spodumene
