Share price in 2010 was under $1.50. Today before the announcement share price was above $11.
Just looked up the 2010 annual report the net profit was $11.2m and EPS 14cents. Fast forward 2023 the net profit was $101m and EPS 125cents.
Total share count has not changed and is still 81million
Mr Anthony's share sell has not come at a cost to shareholder returns and business not growing. There is no reason to believe otherwise why the recent sell would be any different. He wants to diversify maybe he is conservative and sleeps well knowing all his eggs are not in one basket. Everyone is different. Bill Gates / Jeff Bezos etc have no problems with bulk of their wealth in one company. There is no right or wrong answer when it comes to sleep at night factor.
