Sun Cable names “powerhouse” to deliver world’s biggest solar and battery project

In a “milestone” announcement on Wednesday, Sun Cable listed North America-based EPC giants Bechtel and Hatch, professional services firms Marsh and PwC Australia, and engineering outfit SMEC (a member of the Surbana Jurong Group) as the members of its Integrated Project Delivery Team (IPDT).


These companies have a substantial presence in pretty much every capital city, however I'm interested to see whether they will base their engineering in Perth which is where the FFI team are at the Swan Brewery. I should note, that TNG's choice of Clough as a partner, means they are committed to a completely different NT project & not snowed for work. May or may not mean anything, but may cut down the competing for engineering talent.

Next thing to watch for is Suncable announcing their PPA.
