Typical of this disgraceful board, they tell us that Zelko increased the number of chooks and the turnover during his tenure but they don't bother to point out that the shares were around 40c when Zelko joined the company and they are 12.5c now, 11 years after we have been paying him a very decent salary. I don't think there was ever a dividend either. This company has been quite a financial success for him but a miserable failure for us.
They quote that the company has 1.2 million chickens but I haven't seen anywhere where they have even mentioned the loss of 450,000 chickens due to bird flu. If that figure quoted by the local newspaper back around December is correct then surely it was highly significant to the company.
Of all the companies I have shares in (about 60), this is my second least favourite board but I don't want to walk away and give up to them.
