Farm Pride didn't lose 450k hens in the outbreak of bird flu at Young. The farm involved supplies Pace Farms one of FP main competitors.
The market is currently very favourable with prices rising due to the reduction in supply. If FP can't turn a more substantial profit this half they never will.
