They're aren't going to settle Rodeo IMO, it makes no sense to settle a lawsuit you deem not material.
Especially one in this context which is just arguably theatre, I mean just look at the damages being asked for, its pure theatre.
What makes more sense is to apply for costs security, so when the "win" (costs awarded) you expect to happen occurs, you'll get your costs back and you can move on.
ASX knows from public docs ISXAU has only been left a few million and is also fighting an ASIC case. Its no wonder they applied for costs security in Dec. They want to make sure they at least get some cash back for the money outlayed defending the case.
