    re: Ann: Managing Director's Annual Gener... Thanks for the addditional material, Asteroider. To address Wadsworths question, yes - the hard line commentary seems to be pre election. The current stance from Newman is that bnd needs to demonstrate it would not compromise the ability to grow crops on the land before full approvals will be given.

    To the bigger question on who and why are they shorting it seems that even though the eis approval has significantly de risked it there is still a perceived opportunity, at the current stage to bet against bnd and Springsure. Not only on the mine approvals but also on the low (but improving price of thermal coal I.e. mine feasibility) and the ability to attract the required capital expenditure to setup the operation. Whilst, the shorting is frustrating for those currently taking long positions it does provide opportunities as the sp rises and the shorts needs to cover.
