Yes, surprising rejection of Bee. Not that I know anything about his performance, but unusual for a Director to be voted out without some prior hints of problems.
IMO, Obvious from the votes that the Asian major shareholders have bounced him. Motivation could be that they thought he wasn't up to it, or that they want a vacancy to stack the Board with their mates, or that they wanted a different mix of skills.
I'm picking the new Director will be an Asian mate "to reflect the international market they operate in" or some similar spin.
I also topped up on the basis of the AGM presentation and forecast, but would worry if the new Director is allied to Hung who has such a strong "related party"supply contract
