Just one example, the Germans want to put this hydrogen electrolyser tech in Australia (run by renewable electricity of course)

Then they have to get it over to Germany which is another challenge in itself, but anyway we are talking huge scales, lots of catalyst required imo.
Of course there is endless research to try to find a cheaper catalyst than platinum, but as yet I don't think it has been beaten.
